English Parker | Certified Doula | Founder
Welcome! My name is English and I use (she/her/hers) pronouns. I live in Raleigh, with my cat Walter. When I am not supporting clients you can often find me listening to podcasts, doing art, watching documentaries or trying a new hobby.
I am a certified labor and postpartum and infant care doula, and newborn care specialist! I am proud to hold my Bachelors in Early Childhood Special Education, and am a life long learner at heart. I have worked in the childcare field for over 7 years with children as young as 16 weeks to 4 years old. This has only solidified my love of caring for, and educating new parents and their children!
I became a doula because I have seen how beautiful, vulnerable, and all-consuming birth and postpartum can be. I am especially passionate about supporting clients with PMAD's (Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders). I have struggled with my own mental health over the years, and am grateful for my ability to attune and hold space in a unique way for my clients. I believe that representation matters and I am proud to be a queer doula. I love supporting families from all walks of life, but especially queer families!
I am grateful to be able to support you and your family during this special season of life!
